In the beginning
Glór Peanut butter began in Zambia Central Africa, where girls from Petauke village introduced Oliver Heffernan to the art of blending and roasting locally grown peanuts to produce what is now Glór Peanut butter.
The process though manually very demanding remains the same, peanuts are first roasted in small quantities until rich and golden in colour then still hot from the oven the nuts are crushed and the husk removed . The remaining nuts are then blended with nothing but a little salt and nut oil to produce the highly textured succulent peanut butter which is Glór.
Glór Peanut butter is just as the label suggests : Dairy Free and Gluten Free. The Benefits of Glór Peanutbutter

- Protect Against Breast Cancer
- Monosaturated. fat can cut in half a woman's risk of breast cancer, peanut oil has 6.3g of monounsaturated fat (4.3g polyunsaturated) compared to 10g monounsaturated (1.1g polyunsaturated) in olive oil.
- Decrease Diabetes Risk in Women

Fortunately 80% of the fat is not saturated fat– “the good fat”–which may actually help lower LDL – cholesterol levels in your blood.
